Betters odds for than against right now.

If Strome is traded and the Eichel thing goes nowhere, do you think the team will go into the season with Zib/Chytil as the top two centers, or will they go after someone like Danault, Larkin, or Dvorak? How linked are the "moving Strome" and "acquiring Eichel" moves?

Krecji/Bonino/Getzlaf/Danault/Bellemare/etc.

In your opinion which last time I checked isn't fact. How do you know they didn't have to give Goodrow that contract to sign a much needed versatile player. Were you part of the negotiations? Players are getting paid on the open market even in a flat cap world. They can't have both Blais and Goodrow? Why? Everybody complained they weren't tough enough to play against. Now they just may be. Blais is not a bad player and him plus a 2022 2nd is equal to a late 1st IMO. Again slightly less than what I expected but Im not going to throw chairs over anything that happened today.
When did I say my opinion was fact?

I keep trying to answer the rest but the board keeps crashing. If you @ me tomorrow I will tell you how you completely missed the point.

I liked the Goodrow move at the time and I didn’t have a problem with the contract at the time. That changed with the Buchnevich trade though.

If salary cap space is at such a premium why commit six years on a tough bottom six winger with a Stanley cup, if you are trading for a tough bottom six winger with a Stanley cup. No, it’s not a perfect comparison but You can do one of the other (or you can do neither). You can get tougher without trading 1st liners for 4th liners and you can get tougher without committing six years.

A 2022 2nd and Blais is not equal to a late 1st. No f’n way. I am not having that.

I feel better about the rangers pick than the devils pick. I wouldn't trade our pick for their pick right now and I mean it.

Lots of movable parts 3-20.

Gorts really is a great hockey mind, really like the way he's handled himself on this panel. Hope to see more of him honestly.
