Buch seems to be a goner anyway so I could live with him, 15 OA because its fair value right now, one of Jones or Roberston who I like but are redundant pieces in the system. I'd rather not trade Nils and Schneider. I'd do that right now.

The kicker is Chytil. I don't want to include him - I'd rather see how he develops and hold onto the center depth in the event Eichel is out longterm and/or Zib walks. I'd rather give up another 1st or 2nd next year - and the latter is only on the assumption that he is healthy.

But I doubt that's a package that would get it done. You need to remember we are taking back a massive contract too. That in and of itself is almost worth taking a piece off if nothing is retained - regardless of his health

Trying to focus on the positive... Eichels wrist shot could be one of the best in Rangers history...

forget his neck, his contract or incoming cap issues... forget about the cost to acquire him without strengthening a weakness... or his horrendous hair

Eichel's neck is under Schrodinger rule. It's both injured and sound simultaneously. It's only when Adams comes back down to reality the true status of Eichel's neck will finally be realized by everyone.

Yep. I could see him wanting to be apart of Buffalo’s turnaround like Tkachuk is to the Sens. At the very least you’re getting a top 6 powerforward with leadership

They can be flipped immediately or bodies for the team in the short term and than traded at the deadline

Anyone think the reason why Eichel hasn’t publicly asked for a trade yet is because he’s waiting for his NMC to kick in? I’m sure he’s terrified hearing that teams like Arizona and Anaheim are in on him. Plus once his NMC kicks in his cost goes down and he’ll be cheaper for his future team to acquire
