This is a large part of the problem. They have no idea how much, if any, he has progressed and they still used a first rounder on him.

He was 40 on Bob's board, so he was likely gone before our next pick. You could look at the second half of the 19-20 season and the U18s and have enough of a base to want to make that pick.

Every player on the board now has question marks. Ceulemans has IQ concerns (too aggressive for his skating abilities), Lambos (mediocre tools across the board), Stankoven (5'7 and not an elite skate). I would have preferred Pinelli as a OHL forward, but oh well.

Not much video on Johnston , so I don’t have much of an opinion on him but I kinda feel like I trust the scouts on this one .

This is just going to be like the Gurianov/Hintz draft, I feel it.

We're about to draft a first line forward with our next pick, and a top 4 D with the other 2nd. Nothing to worry about boys.
