Why team USA is not sending their best players to these tournaments? As I understand, players from the UNDTP team usually not playing at the Hlinka (looking at the past year's rosters). Why is that?

Probably to get other players (non-NTDP) a chance to represent their country. The NTDP plays pretty much every other international tournament throughout the year.

Russia beat Swiss 9-2. Michkov with 2+1, his linemate since both were kids Perevalov with 2 goals. Perevalov was moved to Michkov's line instead of Miroshnichenko, and it was a good move. Miroshnichenko still scored a goal and added 3 assists to it, so it was a good game for him.

There's alot of '04s to like from Sweden, I'd say he can be in the conversation, but there's some tough competition, even just on the forward side imo.

2x first rounders Lambert and Kemell. 4x 2nd rounders Hokkanen, Salin, Rönni, Nyman + wherever Leinonen might go. Laakso has been dissapointing thus far maybe he had physical advantage in years past now they caught up thou he hasnt got any powerplay time which is his bread and butter
