Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Sounds like he dominated again just like at the U-18s a few months.
I’m still perplexed as to why Canada didn’t attend this tournament. It was a dumb decision.
He actually was pretty meh save one shift in the 3rd. It's just he doesn't need to be good or great to score on this level. I'd personally prefer to watch him playing at the Sochi tournament vs top KHL teams.

Talent is cyclical and every country has down years. This US group is just their down cycle.USA has just lost to a second division team that will play against Japan and France next april. Just sayin
They have so many talented players that even "B" team is capable of winning this cup but probably not this year.

And we outshot them. Game was at least even. Goalies were the difference. The American goalie couldn’t stop anything, and Elias was good. Slovaks also got a few home team calls.
But good for the Slovaks. This is their big tournament. This is a tournament for our B squad guys to get scouted for the team. Nemec and Elias were the top two Slovaks in this game. Slafkovsky had the great goal and a few nice flashes. Dvorsky showed very well for his age.

What? No, this is the B-squad. We rarely compete to win at this tournament. It’s almost entirely for scouting purposes for players to get drafted and to make future American teams. 2004 age group is right up there with 1997 and 2001 as our most talented age groups.

Right there with Hauf and Lutz as Germany’s best for 2022(one can even argue better). People from Germany have been calling the 2022 draft 2020 lite because of the potential guys like Ketcher, Hauf, Lutz and to a smaller extent Elias have at being drafted high.
When we will regularly defeat top 6 teams in this age category, then we can take this nonsense with "B-teams".
For now, lets enjoy this victory.

Tried to watch the full game of the FIN RUS from yesterday and apparently the feed isn’t there. You can watch the pre tourney game still but both games from the Czech Republic yesterday aren’t available
