From what I gather.. the entire strategy seems to be to get it to Kubalik, Zadina and Vrana and watch them score off one timers. It's not a bad strategy but we don't seem to do much else. Not many combinations, not much rhythm.Have a look at the SUI-DEN game yesterday. Denmark is inferior to us (at least on paper at this tourney), but they've really managed to play a very close game for 60min! Strong defensive effort, high discipline and a lot of grit. Why can't we play that way? Don't tell me that this isn't possible...
You forgot Great Britain. If this is our game we will have serious problems with teams such as Denmark, Sweden and Slovakia.
Something has to change and it had better be soon.
I expected a close game... Belarus is great in this tourney... so I didn't think it'd be 5-0 or anything BUT we just don't look good. From Gold medal team to not making it to the quartefinals. This team sucks.

If you asked me 3 days ago I'd say easy match, now I"m thinking shootout.lolWe should manage them right? We just about managed Belarus. But they will fight hard.
My guess is first two losses completely killed their confidence and ramped up the pressure. Struggle mode now.
It's funny because I was joking that our entire strategy was pass it to an NHL guy.. that's how we won.lolThis team has no visible identity, system, let alone leadership (status after 3 completed games). Also, I can't see any impulse from the coaching side to change any of this teams' shortcomings.
Pešán did not flinch when the goal was scored. No idea how to translate "zaražený prdy" into english. He is so full of himself. There, almost got it.Czech TV in a nutshell: Yes!!! We won in OT against a fatigued Belarus team but have no identity or strategy whatsoever!
