WC: 2021 Czech Republic Roster Talk

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. From what I gather.. the entire strategy seems to be to get it to Kubalik, Zadina and Vrana and watch them score off one timers. It's not a bad strategy but we don't seem to do much else. Not many combinations, not much rhythm.
 
If this is our game we will have serious problems with teams such as Denmark, Sweden and Slovakia.

Something has to change and it had better be soon.
 
OMG.. we've made so many mistakes in under 1 minute... 2 giveaways, a too many men pass...
 
Kubalik! But holy shit if we didn't luck out. That OT was rough! Great job by Belarus.
 
Kubs! Two points aren't perfect, but at least we have avoided the historic moment of losing to Belarus.
 
Hrubec with an assist... I wanted to see who sprung Kubalik and it was Hanzl. Nice pass.
 
My guess is first two losses completely killed their confidence and ramped up the pressure. Struggle mode now.

This team has no visible identity, system, let alone leadership (status after 3 completed games). Also, I can't see any impulse from the coaching side to change any of this teams' shortcomings.

It's funny because I was joking that our entire strategy was pass it to an NHL guy.. that's how we won.lol

I'm all for feeding the NHL snipers but I just don't see an identity.

NHL guys aside... do we have secondary scoring? Just Flek with a goal in first game, right?

Pešán did not flinch when the goal was scored. No idea how to translate "zaražený prdy" into english. He is so full of himself. There, almost got it.
