Good transitions, good forechecking, good shots, decent passer and bad defence.

Why did this guy fall?
Slow start/injury apparently.

I like those types as they tend to slide, and most that slide don't rebound in the rankings no matter how well they finish up.

When they say turnover they meant he causes turnovers...one of his attributes.
\
No it doesn't.

He apparently has good skill with the puck but he overestimates his own ability and tries to double down on another fancy play, eventually turning it over. He doesn't have the foot speed to recover after the turnover. That can be coached out of him, like Kadri as an example, who wanted to make the pretty play on every shift. You can't get away with that crap in the NHL unless you are elite.

He also digressed statistically going into his draft year. I hate taking players who are on the down swing.

Why's that?
There’s better players with analytics on the board like martino, robertsson and the finnish dudes. Recently, Shanahan has insisted on more grit, size, intangibles with the team, which has resulted in him bringing in foligno, simmonds, and thornton. This has had suboptimal results. Dubas has shied away from late birthday picks in the top 3 rounds for 3 drafts and there were clearly better options on the board.
