Greer shorthanded gets off a good shot through the defender right up on him.

Daws needs to be glued to his crease. He does noit play the puck well and many times he just throws it up the boards when he doesn't need to resulting in a giveaway and pressure right back on him.

Greer and Deleo 2 on1.

Deleo shoots a hard one low to his left andf the rebound did not come off the pad to Greer. Net off the pegs by a sliding defender.

Comets need to watch Greer. He is giving them a textbook lesson on how to get into the puck possesor. You just don't stop working hard and fast.

Utica is 1 -2 with Mukh.

Amerks continue to press and the Comets continue to look as if they are just protecting a lead. They can't do that and less than halfway through the game is WAY to early to try that anyways. The Comets top defensive system is offense inthe other end.

Ok takes a stick wave at the puck at he offensive blueline and the Amerks stormed in and Daws made 2 scintillating stops.

Amerks back in and Vuk just handed to the point and more pressure.

Comets 4th line restarts the Comets offensive engine and Clarke makes a great move and gets to the net only to be stopped by Dell with a great save.

Bahl snuffed out Peterka along the wall after he escaped Wotherspoon.

Daws bails out Bahl after Peterka nearly got by him later in the shift.

Deleo, Greer and Z work a 3-way pass in the O-zone and Z just can't get the shot away.

Peterka walks in and Daws is there to stop the Amerks most dangerous offensive player again.

SPEED KILLS and this guy is the ultimate example.

Comets gap is too wide. The D can't get it up ice because the forwards are way too far ahead of them.

Clarke and Talvitie threaten again. Putting on lots of pressure.

Amerks love offensive zone faceoffs as they win most of the draws and can work their offense.

Comets having difficulty clearing their own zone without icing at this point.

Z on the rush dumps it before the red line and he disapproves but it clearly was.

Holtz forecheck is nothing but short turns. NO stick in the lane and never
body contact of any type.

Nice shot . Not knitpickig but doesn’t look like he had his head up at all after taking the pass. I’m sure he has scored off a shot from that spot on the ice a million times but somewhat a smidge concerned that he had his head down the entire time . He might get his block knocked off one day doing that by a defenceman that can read plays better and step up in a hurry

Yeah that's an AHL goal. He won't see that time and space in the NHL.

Holtz has so much trouble keeping a pass on his stick. He needs to spend the summer skating and having pucks passed to him from all angles over and over until he is sick of it. If he can't take a pass, his career is stilted.

He's been good. Just needs to watch and learn the system more. He's so good he won't see Utica next season.

I think he has his head down because he has so much trouble keeping a pass on his stick.

He needs to improve on a few things to enable him to have enough time to get a shot off. Needs to be able to find the quiet spots on the ice better and dust off passes cleaner.

The Americans should change their name to Trap Queens. With the AHL video quality and the amount of grab assessments going on, this game gives me 90’s vibes.

Lets be real, this is a team who filtered players back down for the playoffs vs The Devils who didn’t. Not sure you would want Smith but Mercer would murder souls.

Whew . Ok . I read it as he is sucking in general .

The game I went he was also playing on the right and subbing for Walsh on the PP. He made some mistakes but I wouldn’t say he sucked, he was just a new guy just off a plane.

Watching live, Vuk was the defensive prospect I was least impressed with.
