Comets controlling play early.
Horrid giveaway by Groleau. Turned off the right wing boards and passed it directly to a Bruin who rifled a shot wide on a great scoring chance.
De Leo hit a post. Comets have hit a post and the Briuins 1.
Off a draw Zetterlund shoots directly off the draw from Talvitie and hits another post. That's 2
Ok dishes out a good hit on the right boards.
Comets to the PK at 11:37.

Second starts with the Comets on the PP for 1:42.
Comets had a good setup but fiddled to make the perfect play and it's cleared down the ice.
Prov wins the draw and ices it again.
Comets get in and the puck is back out.
That PP was yuck. Now the Comets get a great chance and then right back in and a great save by Keyser.
Now Holtz a good shot and Keyser holds on.
Comets lose the draw and the Bruins get to the Comets end
Utica back in and De Leo just misses.
Comets cannot win a draw. It's the only thing keeping the game out of the Providence end for the whole period.
Comets lose the draw in the Comets zone. Comets weather the Bruins effort and the Comets get it out.
Bruins return to the Comets end during a weak change. Schmid holds on.
Comets lose the draw and the Bruins end up with another chance and Scmid freezes it again.
Comets all of a sudden can't get out of their zone.
Gambardella wins a race for a loose puck and goes in alone and Keyser makes a glove stop and ends up sitting on his butt.

2 Comets on the end boards against a single Bruin who slides it out to an uncontested Bruin who slips it by Schmid.

Boqvist does not impress me at all. He is a center and should be distributing the puck, but he is more carry it until he loses it or dumps it. same act for 2 both games. Not helping Foote or Clarke offensively at all.
The shots are drawing closer to even, 19-10 now.
Comets finally win a draw. Into the Bruins end and it's right back out.
Color guy, Sestito says the Providence end is still clean ice. Indicating how much this period has belonged to the Bruins.

On the Bruins goal BOTH Comets D went behind the net to the lone Bruin. Error there.
With no D in front of the net somebody, normally the the center should try to pick up the slot to the crease front. However, any player with eyes would have got his ass into the net front. Even bigger error there.
No Comet in front of the net but there are TWO Bruins in front and 2 Comets coasting out maybe 20 feet away from them just watching to see what will happen and then the puck comes out to the Bruin. He scores with ease. These 2 guys deserve 30 lashes at least.
Those 2 Comets doing zero defensively should have had cameras to snap the picture of the goal for the morning paper in Providence. They saw it perfectly if that's what they were doing!

Good stop by Schmid, leaves a rebound, but it's cleared.

Schmid another good stop. 2 back to back shots by Comets. 1 from the right side stopped and rebounds to the left side and that shot is held for a whistle.
