McDavid is an even more breathtaking skater live. It’s crazy how much space people HAVE to give him and even when they don’t due to bad positioning or something it’s less his raw speed (which is obviously in the stratosphere) and more his ability to change directions with and without the puck at that speed that kills everyone.

The nhl is full of absolute speedsters, but the above is the biggest difference between McDavid and like Kempe or Wagner, neither of those guys can just go outside with regularity, McDavid challenges your balance more than your speed.

I give this guy 100x more credit than drai. He just looks like a monster on a mission right now. Pretty no bullshit, just going about his business, plenty of heart and not shy of contact. Usually I f***ing hate watching losses but I get the feeling of watching something special here like I always did with Gretzky or lemieux. Kings could be up 5-0 (I know I know they couldn’t) with 5 min left and it wouldn’t be safe.

He’s taking over. He wants past the first round.

Byfield hasn't been anywhere near as bad as Athanasiou was that period.
AA is the weakest link of all the weak links. Get AA on the bench the rest of the game. Get Gabe on line 1 now.
Gabe has some jam tonight and is hungry.

If the Kings lose this game - Sturm and Yawney need to be fired, tomorrow. Matters not if they cannot be replaced by Sunday.

We're drowning here and you're describing the water.

Kids learning way more in this series than having the team tank another season for a higher draft pick.
But what if the higher draft pick turned into a star player? Which the system is lacking.

It’s nice that guys like Durzi, Spence etc are playing and progressing. But where are the guys expected to be difference makers

Just tough to be where we are with a 2OA at the end of year 2 being a healthy scratch.

AA is another one of those easy players to judge (there are a lot n the league). He either generates offense and he serves a purpose or he doesn’t and he’s not playable. Vilardi is the same way, you have those guys in and deal with the deficiencies if they bring offensive production. If they don’t, they sit.

AA has had three pretty meh games, you could easily justify sitting him for game 4.

It really feels like at this point we should consider taking top 6 off the power play to rest them for 5v5. They won't score anyway, let the energy lines on the power play to just try to keep some momentum.

Watching draisaitl chirping danault after losing the face off and getting dropped tells you everything you need to know about that loser.
Crysaitl doesnt understand what it means to be tough.. raised in the old world, not in the land of trappers and eskimoes
