Now this guy is Captain material. I love the attitude that he shows out there, the effort, gets into some scraps even. He doesn't take any shit even yells at the refs at the faceoff circle what he thinks he's been kicked out unjustly. At the very least he needs to be wearing an A next season.

Liz and Lemieux playing so well earlier in the season added some much needed depth to the lineup.

Since coming back from injury, neither one has played anywhere near as good as before.

We're a one line team.

I loved AA's spin and cut in the offensive zone, I think it was in the third period. He lost the puck unfortunately, but he had a great move to shield the puck then cut in towards the net and shook two defenders in the process. Wish I had a clip of it.

I think AA looked good with Kopitar and Kempe. Probably the best we can hope for right now.

Removing the "I wish the kids were playing more important roles" emotions from the conversation, it's not a terrible top nine. We're just really feeling an absence of a third (or fourth I guess) line and have been all season.

It's too late to send down Kupari, Kaliyev, Byfield, and Vilardi I believe since they can't play in Ontario anymore this season, but if we had, we could be rolling out Lemieux - Tynan - Frk as a fourth line and truly let the kids get their reps in in Ontario.

i thought Byfield and Vilardi at least got paper transaction-ed so they could? I know Moverare is beyond waivers now, but yeah, if you're not going to play Byfield and Kailyev and just roll out the oldest lineup we can every night, send them down FFS.

Jesus Christ....ok....let me paint this out for you....individual stats don't make a line successful. Every argument you and Axl make resorts to points. And I said "the past few months" we've been a one line team. Consider this my last post on the subject.
