I actually was on this board 20 minutes ago, was gonna post "Go Kings Go" but also decided to take a shower instead. I should've posted it. That would've changed the game surely.
I was like "Okay, we'll probably be down a goal when I get back."

4-0 Colorado

Also is Lemieux a healthy scratch? Injured? I'm lost.

Was there something wrong with Quick's pad on that 3rd goal?

He was in position. Looked like the puck almost hit his pad and the pad itself gave in. Like it flexed from being hit.

I dunno. About Lemieux. This is the first time in a while that I've looked up a Kings game. Do you guys run the other team when games get out of hand like this? I think we (the Sharks) ran Kadri a couple weeks ago.

In movies the underdog team is always down at the beginning. Then the coach or a player or the lovable janitor gives a heart felt speech and the team comes back to win in dramatic fashion.

Anyone know where we can find a lovable janitor, because I don’t trust the coach or another player to make the speech

I think we'd be in the exact same position but thank you for igniting that thought.

You have to figure Byram would have made a difference in one of the 1 goal games the Kings have played this year, 1 point might be the difference between getting in or not. Plus it would have solved a large organizational need with a potential 1st pairing LHD.

So crazy with this roster the Avs have vs. what the Kings have that only a few years ago they were picking ahead of us in the draft. Almost unfair.

It was the end of the PP and Colorado’s #1 unit hadn’t left the zone for two minutes. My guess is he was tired,

Could've been tired and didn't get his legs down as strong as he needed to to keep the pad from being slightly up. But it's also the tradeoff of using Vaughns that have a little more give than non-rolled pads

At least Quick has the tired excuse and being probably the MVP this season going for him. Petersen literally gave up the same goal the next shot.

This looked alot like the first period of Iceland vs. Team USA in the Junior Goodwil Games.

Lets just hope our comeback won't require wearing Ducks jerseys for the third period.

I'm saying it looked like the top of his right leg pad bent which allowed the puck to go through. Like the pad is defective or worn out.

I haven't seen that before.

Or maybe I'm just seeing things.

Man we don’t even hit them with purses. The Kings just roll over and take it. You might see the occasional fight from AA or Danault but for the most part that’s it.
