Their D wasn’t the issue. The ability to put a damn, god forsaken puck in the net is and continues to be. It needs to addressed in the off-season

It's okay, we live in fantasy land out here in LA; this was game 1 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs according to TM.

Its not like 19 is a 'made' man on the team - like a 2 time cup winner. He's just a filler role player who got a 4m contract.. Why treat him like he's a previous hart candidate that may come out of his slump. He's a nobody.

I agree with you but the coach (and probably the GM) don’t agree with us.

If Iafallo were to be benched it would have happened by now. People grasping for straws talking about his “excellent” defensive play as justification for him, sounds like Richards “intangibles” as justification 8 years ago.

I see the same player, guys who lost a step in their late 20’s and it completely collapsed their game. Iafallo will be in the NHL again next year, sadly probably on LA but if he plays the first 50 games next season the way he has played the final 50 this year it could be the end of the road.

What the f*** did I just watch

Not many words, just discouraging

felt like the early season Kings, great game on paper, sent a lot of possession, can't finish, catastrophic breakdowns. Probably wouldn't be too mad about this game if not for the timing.

Except they practiced the power play all week so I'm really glad that came through for us toniahahahahahahah

He always seemed like a guy who should be playing in Europe... except for that 5-7 games stint when DD first got injured.. he's been a disaster.

Been saying this for years. A 1st and 2nd liner he is not, but for the life of me he's glued to Kopi ever since he became a king. Amazing.

They better figure out what in Sam hell they are going to do with 19 because a bunch of dudes in the room aren’t going to be cool with him shitting the bed coke playoffs like someone said he isn’t royalty he’s just a plug in the top 6.
 
4-4-2 in the last 10. No killer instinct. PK with more goals than the PP... again. It's just groundhog day with this team.

The second power play unit is better then the first. Also, I love Kopi but he is just cruising around out there. You are the captain you got to give more intensity.

I’m not so sure about that, not on AK, DB, DD and JQ lead Kings room.

The rumors were the players were pretty pissed when Richards was demoted in 14-15 and this is the same horror movie script. AI is probably their buddy and they are blinded to how awful he’s been, like they were with Richards.
 
Make a statement.
1. Sign Faber tomorrow AM.
Have him go on the roadtrip and he's in the game Sunday, in Minny - no less - and plays in front of his family.
2. Fagemo recalled and plays Sunday. AI is scratched Sunday.
 
We are slipping in the standings. I’m getting worried. Don’t want Colorado in the first round. Even though we have been here before…
