Big turning point in this game was that play where Grundstrom set up Kupari at the doorstep and he was stopped. If the Kings make it 3-1 there they are in the drivers seat.

Then they got 2 similar chances and scored on both.

All 3 goals off of bad decisions (Cal, Vilardi, Bjornfot) while out there against Guadreau. That is what is frustrating, just make smart plays with the puck and we’d be fine.

2 of the turnovers were completely unforced too.

Kings really need to convert their chances

The Kings third line has generally done a solid job maintaining possession and generating chances but at some point there has to be more production to go with it. Kupari needed to bury that chance. It could easily be the difference between 2 and 0 points.

The Kings are also completely wasting Kaliyev in the role they have him in. Should switch him with either Kupari or Vilardi.
