Kopitar line had a great period and played well vs Calgary. They have to play like this if the Kings wanna finish the season strong.

Pretty decent period outside of the Ehlers goal, consistent forechecking has been something this team has been lacking of late.

Great period as a whole. Cal and Durzi each had amazing moments and womps. But both have played a big part in the team being up 2-1.

Kopitar's line is looking much better.
Danault's line is still magic.
Byfield's line has been average. Good bouts of forechecking, but by and large they are a bit out of sync.
Andersson's line seems a bit disjointed. Good individual play, especially from Grundstrom, but not good cohesion.

It's worked fantastically for their forechecking, but not so much for their puck control.

Spending 1:30 in the opposing end will lead to more good things than bad, though.

Have to think jets will push back a bit, they're not just gonna fumble the puck at each line all night.

All in all a great period though, 1st line and special teams waking up makes us look like an absolute nightmare for anyone we would face, and the puck possession/forechecking was straight out of the healthy Kings playbook.

Edler has been so good after he re-came back. So many good plays in all zones... can we keep him? Its either him or maata or neither.. I say keep Edler no maata what (edit: for next year)
