I feel like the same people who have an issue with Kopitar criticism are the same people who brought up Mike Richards contributions to team Canada when he was on the 4th line.

This is so absurd I can’t even…

Kopitar was absolutely crucial to this team’s prior success, and he’s absolutely awful now. Those things are not mutually exclusive, and it’s got nothing to due with “respect” or “appreciation”.

QB playing as confident as he has ever played, and it's not even close. I have been pessimistic about him being able to put two good games together because frankly he has yet to do it, but this feels different. Like maybe it's the start of something.

All season we've needed the 3rd line to get it together to complete the forward group.

And now that they finally are doing something, the rest of the forward lines are struggling.

Yea that period was hopefully a turning point. He was a factor every shift and maybe the first time hes shown multiple shifts in a row why he was drafted 2nd overall.

You do realize this is sports? Your value is what you bring to the table daily. You can be critical of a player and still appreciate what he’s done. Kopitar helping the kings win the cup 7-10 years ago is irrelevant to the player he is now. He sucks right now and there’s no way around it.

*on defense. I don’t miss Drew on the powerplay AT ALL. Guess that’s “disrespectful” but I’ll take Durzi and Spence on the PP all day over Drew. Too bad our coach is a moron and would never do it given the choice.

We absolutely miss DD on defense though. If it’s a game he feels like getting up for at least.

Yea he got schooled three shifts in a row and was lucky the goal got called back. Its no crime to point it out

So much disrespect in the GDT!
Drew has always been weak on the PP, definitely don't miss him there but need him for everything else.

The coach has to not only manage the team and lines but he also has locker room politics to play. If he pissed off every leader he has in the locker room and they all begin calling for his head he may not be around long enough to guide the team anywhere... I'm critical of some of Todd's decisions and happy with most, but not telling Drew Doughty he sucks at powerplays while he was nearly ppg the entire year isn't really one I count against him.

Why is Kopitar's line getting so many minutes. They're the 4th line!
