All that bitching against "biased reffing" and they couldn't score on an AHL squad. For a team first in offense, they should be embarrassed of their effort with or without the pp.

Biased reffing my ass! With all the hooks, holds, and trips Florida got away with, I thought we were playing Vegas! The trip on Kopi after the faceoff win that led to the shorty, the goalie interference, Moore being crosscheck to the ice on the delayed penalty on the Kings. Then the head shot that was only a 2 min penalty, that also somehow got Kopiar 2 for roughing? . That was 5, plus a game miscounduct...but hey game management, right? The guy is getting suspended for sure with that much head contact. FU Florida, see you whiners next year!

It was a good play by Durzi (risky one that obviously paid off huge) by maybe if Doughty was in we would not have needed to tie the game late?

Such a great game! Love hubes but he cost his team the game. Feel shame.

Great win by the replacements! Really thought Florida was going to blow the doors off this team.

Its a shame that Frk's last minute heroics will get him sent back down to the AHL.
He should be a third line winger, PP specialist for some cash-strapped team trying to compete. He's in the worst possible spot right now for his career.

That poster really really hates the Kings and I’m confused why, when have Kings vs Panthers ever been a rivalry.

Panthers fans last night vs. Kings fans

I def don't get it either, there was some serious anger there

I also have to shrug at all the "Byfield is terrible stuff" coming from all angles. The guy has lots to learn--but even while struggling he's a dominant play driver. Imagine what happens when he puts things together.

I saw him make some great defensive plays last night that led to opportunities. Does he fumble the puck a ton? sure. I'd even argue he's definitely got the yips right now, self-imposed pressure I imagine. The SO is a good example, look at his first attempt vs. his 2nd. But the idea that he's even remotely hurting the team is a joke, almost every game he's been away from AA he's been a top-tier possession/scoring chance player. The production will come once the confidence starts. And I saw a completely different player last night with Vilardi and Kupari (who to their credit looked like good young NHLers last night) than I did with Brown and AA.

I think some expectations are set too high, there is zero polish on this kid right now and that SHOULD be expected, he's 19.

All that being said, someone f***ing swap out his intermediate sticks with seniors

Agreed...definitely not hurting the team by any stretch of the imagination.......but....can we put to bed he wasn't producing because of bad linemates?

What in the hell was Huberdeau all bent about? I saw the replay and to me it looked like he initiated contact and then fell down. I know I'm a Kings fan but I'm happy to admit when our guys f up or particularly if they do something dirty. To me it looked like the only thing dirty was Huberdeau's elbow which in my opinion could've been a 5 minute and a game. The two minute penalty was sufficient though so I won't complain. It was really annoying how the Kings' broadcast only showed the replay once (from my memory) and then I don't think they ever showed what Kopitar got a penalty for when Huberdeau retaliated. Lastly, Alex Faust is really annoying.

He probably realized at the end of this road trip he has to go back to Florida.

Glad to hear I wasn't the only one scratching my head to the tune of 'What the F did Kopitar do?'

I left So Cal almost a year ago for Tampa and have no regrets. I miss the 7:30 start times though. The 10:30 start times are rough.
nice little bump there on the salary too right? (no state income tax), and much less gas tax. I wonder where all the revenue goes in CA, which gets just as much tourist revenue as FL from taxing hotels, rentacars etc

I don't think he'd clear waivers at this point in the season. Earlier teams may have been reluctant to have him take up a roster spot, but we are close enough to the postseason that someone might grab him for free for a little depth just in case.
I have been talking about Frk and Vilardi for weeks already.

Yes they will have their fair share of bad games too but they shouldn’t be in the AHL.

I still can't for the life of me figure out why Kopitar went to the box there.

The camera work has been so bad this year, they completely missed the entire "whatever" happened between the two. It's where all the action was, yet they showed the benches I think, then went back to the action after everything went down. It's been like that since Baleys took over.
