The Kings are closer to First, then they are to Third. This would almost be impossible, with a 100% healthy Kings team....and yet, they have been without Edler and Walker for months, lost Drew for a month....and have lost: Lemieux, Arvidsson, Roy, Anderson, Doughty (a second time) and the special teams are among the league's worst....and Kopitar and Iafallo have been AWOL a month.

It's crazy.

I thought this was one of Byfield's worst games. Totally lacking confidence out there. He sure looks awkward sometimes with that short stick.

Love the assertiveness of Bjornfot's game tonight. It's like he knew he had to step up, and he answered the call.

Kopitar does nothing. Lizzotte isn't playing anywhere near as well as he was earlier in the season. QB is a rookie. So we're basically down to one good center.

The game was actually going quite well until they gave up that shortie.

Still struggling like hell to generate scoring chances.

f*** Huberdeau. Absolutely cowardly, reckless play that showed no respect for the safety of other players, and he made his team pay for his selfishness. Again, f*** him. With a lamp.

So many gritty performances tonight from so many players. Moverare, Spence, Maatta, everyone back there did all they could. Vilardi and Kupari immediately improved the 3rd line, and Frk with that absolute CANNON he has.

Love seeing Kaliyev with 20 minutes. More of that please, he looked great tonight with Danault and Moore.

Kopitar’s execution was “Dustin Brown” levels of flub tonight. Truly scary. I echo other ppl’s sentiments that I hope he’s playing through an injury, because otherwise he is Handzus now.

Any points we can get during this stretch of injury hell will be mini- miracles, so tonight was great. And we only lost the one player to injury tonight!

Guys stuck with it. Overcame short handed goal. Needed the 2 points. Kids played great. Held FLA to 2 goals. Clearing the net could use some work. Also need a goon or 2, to fight & get guys off the ice.

Losing Bjornfot sucks. Can we use an emergency recall on Clarke yet?
