Is Todd back behind the bench tonight?
If we are going for a 3rd loss, I sure hope so. Makes a lot more sense to put all the blame on TM when he's actually on the bench.

Kaliyev could be heard saying “wait a God damned minute here.”

Ak isn't all that slow.Suddenly become a speedster? We aren't likely to see two slow guys on the same line.
i understand keeping the 4th line together but at the same time i fear this is how you build seeds of resentment with kaliyev, that is unless he's getting a PP1 promotion
how out of character, an argumentative, belittling post with no contentSure sounds a bit dramatic to me...

did i say that? didn't think soWhat do you need me to say? I feel it’s ridiculous that Kaliyev would go off pouting and crying because he wasn’t promoted to 1st line over JAD? If that actually happen, I would hope he gets traded immediately. I have a little more faith in these kids that they are learning to be professionals, you obviously do not.

No one seriously thinks Kaliyev is pouting. Are you trying to dethrone the resident king of strawmen around here?

And yet....someone seriously said that it could lead to resentment...... if that's all it takes to lead to resentment, guy is right, trade Kaliyev as he wouldn't have what it takes to be a professional.
Lemme pull out one of my strawmen favorites in response…
Thank god you’re not the Kings GM. Anyone who’s played Major Midget on the top bantam club in the backwaters of rural Alberta understands that not all players mature right away. That’s why you surround them with vets who show them what it takes to be a pro.
He's slow and Kopitar is getting slower. I doubt if you ever see them together on the same line. Yes, teams don't like to break up lines that are working -- until they aren't.He isnt that slow. Gets where he needs to go and actually moves pretty well for his size when he picks up steam.
I think Axl Rhoadz said it best. They arent looking to break up the lines that are working.

That's a good point. Although I would not be surprised to see Kaliyev (next year) on Danault's line.more and more teams seem to keep pairs together. I see LA's pairs as Kopitar and Kempe, RV and Danault (although why would you ever not include Moore), Lemieux and Lizotte. 3rd line is currently trying to figure out that pair, and I moving around anyone not mentioned above is fair.
JAD has been pretty good this season tipping and redirecting pucks for goals. That rarely happens on the big club, so let's see one tonight!
He's been absolutely $$$ when him and Spence are out on the PP together. Both of them have absolutely racked up the points lately.
