More that it wasn't Dwight's fault the Kings effectively had no left wingers.
 
Yet another Byfield shift where he's the only one defending and in position and hitting people right int he stick with pucks and they can't hold on.

It's seriously just f***ing sabotage having him out there with AA and Brown but ALSO Maatta and that shift in particular Roy

First - the ice is terrible tonight.
Secondly, Byfield is not NHL ready. Not close.
Vilardi was way better last year than Byfield this year.

Thirdly, I would have taken Byfield #1 overall. But he wasn't NHL or AHL ready last year. I expected 2 full OHL years and then maybe 20-40 AHL games before he was in the NHL.
Instead, the Kings are forcing a raw, raw talent into a role he's nowhere near ready for.

Vilardi should be in the NHL right now.
Byfield should be in the AHL.
Brown in the pressbox.

I think many nights you’re seeing what you want to see this year with the Kings young players.

This has not been one of QB’s better games.
