GM has the deepest prospect pool in the league. So many guys that there aren't going to be enough spots for them all and he can't even make a trade for a goal-scorer from a crappy team. Overpay a little bit, who cares.

Why do we defer out to the point on the power play? Low percentage chance to score from out there. Push the puck into the danger areas. Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure this out. Fire Sturm or get new personnel out there

I don't think the Kings feel he can skate well enough to keep up in the NHL (right or wrong).

No other reason why so many other people have been given shots and he hasn't. Vilardi is not a kid anymore, nothing to gain from that level as far as development.

I get it in this sense since he is changing positions, but they also have some psychological work to do with Vilardi if they want to keep him. His body language earlier this year was the worst I have ever seen. He really looked like he expected failure and had no joy in his game at all.
