He really needs to be bumped down. Has no right to play with Kopi anymore
To make things worse, he took a 1:10 shift in OT that started in the ozone, backcheck to the dzone, another rush, then he’s tangled up and so far behind the play and he STILL comes back rather than just, ya know, change, and then glides around while Dallas gets a grade A look before going to the bench.

I've been so impressed with Kopitar's on ice decision making this year. Always making the right play.
Kopi has improved immensely in the last few years. Gets rid of it earlier. No more circle around the net and hold like he did so often in the past.

Kupari had a solid game, drove the play a lot and had a very effective forecheck. Put him with some better linemates and I bet he starts scoring. And of course he got no look in OT, god forbid Todd puts out a player who would excel with all that open space. Instead tired Kopi gets a shift with slow Brown. I feel like most other NHL teams aren't afraid to put rookies on the first line and put them in a position to succeed. Kupari could have insane chemistry with Kopi, but we'll never find out for sure.

I just can't see any redeeming qualities to this team. Soft, slow, low scoring and pretty damn old. I mean at least other bad teams get to watch their high end prospects. Guys like Hughes, Sillinger, Drysdale, McTavish, Stutzle, Lundell, Mercer, Eklund, Dach, Hughes, Zegras, Cozens, Caufield, Pinto and Hoglander are all making impacts and learning how to play in the NHL. It's still early so maybe things can turn around, but the body language of this team isn't good. Still the same identity that allowed Doughty to get run by Tkachuk does nothing to the team that took him out. In fact, it was worse than nothing, the Stars were just bullying them physically.

Just got to hope it looked worse than it actually is like what happened to Rozsival. His collision was just a bruise. Funny enough I was looking up the injury and I found this gem of a quote from Mike Smith.
“If Raffi Torres gets 25 games for his hit during the play, then this guy (Brown) ought to be done forever,” Coyotes goalie Mike Smith told reporters after the game.

This might’ve been discussed already, but what was Quick doing on the GWG? He’s laughably off his post and dropped his shoulder so early that he gave away half the net.

Yeah man, those 30 goal seasons from Trevor Lewis really pushed those early 2010s teams into the playoffs.

I don't think Arvy is a 30 goal scorer anymore, unfortunately injuries have taken their toll on him. He didn't even top 30 points the past two seasons.
