Victor Hedman was a -6 tonight. He played 24 minutes. Ryan McDonough played more than he did and was even. Absolutely brutal game for Hedman it looks like.

That being said a game like this plays to Wolanin's --and even Maatta's--strengths in that their skating allows them to pinch up and be aggressive instead of defending in their zone on their heels.

Oh it certainly doesn’t tell everything, but when another defenseman on your team played the same amount and the difference was 6 goals…shheeesh that’s not a good day.
