Good goal. Someone had a distinct kicking motion a few weeks ago and it was counted as good.

historically that first contact has never been called a kicking motion, many times against us for that matter

guess it depends if it even crossed the line

Not a big AA fan but he looks good on the line with Danault/Iafallo. More or less fulfilling the same role as Kempe.

Criticism of AA in Detroit sometimes was that he was a puckhog.
I think the opposite was true. He forces passes too often.

Does anyone know the rule regarding when the situation room can call down to challenge goals? It was always my interpretation that they would call down in the last few minutes of play and if the puck had gone in, but no goal was called. If the situation room can call for a review on any goal, why do they bother with coaches challenges?

Perhaps a Kempe-Kopi-Arvidsson line can shake it up. DB shouldn’t be on the top line if somebody will just take it away from him.
