Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Now that Alexandrov has returned from injury, any guess on how likely he is to make Team Russia?

Practically nil. Was banned from the CHL/Russia series (NCAA eligibility), so Bragin never got a first hand look at him.
Probably not good enough anyway, he isn't exactly lighting up the NCAA. No big loss.
Plus he showed nothing at the 4 nation tournaments he played at.
Unlikely
Alexandrov has a good of a chance as anybody. This team will be thin at center.

I think the 3rd C spot is up for grabs and I think Alexandrov probably has the inside edge over a few candidates. The other spots look taken.

Knyazev is an interesting case. He is having a good season, but it doesn't look like he is even considered for this team.

Tyutyayev is MHL player, I don’t understand why some people think that he could get a chance.

Amirov is 18 and he has not shown that he can make an impact on the next level this season. If everything goes as planned he should make the next year's roster.
Savunov played himself out of a spot in 6 games of the Super Series.
Tyutyayev is extremely small and there is no need for him on the top 6.

I just read that Rtishchev has a food poisoning.
As for final cuts, those will be made after the pre-tournament games.
Same with Sweden, USA, and Finland. Overall, the non-attending stars are pretty similar for the big 5. No country should be complaining about missing star power since they're all missing about the same quality of talent.
