Fletcher's comments don't inspire hope that Patrick will be ready soon.

If you have Couts, Hayes, and Patrick up the middle, the bottom six forwards kind of work themselves out. If anything, good players will get scratched because there's not enough room, not just because of AV's personal preferences.

There would be no need to shop (there isn't any need, anyway, even if NP isn't ready to go).

Haula is going to cost millions and get a 3C job somewhere though... maybe even 2C!

Maybe Larsson could be had for ~1m. And he is solid... but Laughton is about as good a player.

I don’t see Haula getting a 2C job, although his versatility is a strong asset. I don’t think he gets a big contract.
