Seriously I'd lose my mind if he fell to us. But if he's gone and several guys we've talked about are still available I'd be fine trading back 5 or so picks.

I haven't paid much attention to this draft but were all the Russians supposed to go this high? Nobody is shying away anymore.

How long ago was this? Probably not Swiss as the only Swiss player we've ever had was Tobias Stephan

Not too long. I think he played for Texas (AHL). I feel like his first name was Severin or something like that, and his last name started with a B. Maybe he played in the Swiss league.

Why do GM's refuse to trade down when they want a guy who will clearly be available later.

I know we don't know all the behind the scenes stuff but c'mon.

I like those last 2 Russian picks though.
