The Astros have really benefitted from 2020.

- no punishment whatsoever handed to the players for their cheating
- no fans allowed, so they didn’t have to deal with any hostility on the road
- expanded playoffs, which allowed their mediocre record to qualify
- on top of that, the ASG in LA was cancelled, which would’ve provided awkwardness in the clubhouse for the Astros representative(s) and their AL teammates. Not to mention avoiding an angry Dodger crowd during the game.
