Doughty is paid like a top 5 defenseman in the league, he plays top 5 minutes and performs like a #4 D.

That’s being generous. I would take it if he played more like a #4, but he’s been such an anchor and detriment, I am reminded of the shitty version of Steve Duchesne who came back here to collect a paycheck and not to play hockey.
