Avalanche really didn't impress tonight. Got a lot of help and still barely got it done. I barely noticed Makar.

Grundstrom and Andresson with less than 15 minutes combined. They looked good when they were out there. Hope we see them again next game.

Vilardi just seems to be a perfect Center for a guy who wants to shoot the puck all the time and can hit the net. Maybe Kaliyev as a linemate in the future?

I'm still really pissed at the officiating, but If I have to find some positives, I actually think if the Avs weren't gifted those powerplays we would've had a decent chance at this game

Our best Offensive defenseman hasn't been drafted yet unfortunately. None of the guys we have on this team is anywhere close to a Makar, Hughes, Heiskinan etc. Maybe one day we'll get lucky.

i suspect at some point next season, maybe even late this season we might see a bit of that on a PP2 unit

So the coach doesn't put Kempe on the ice,why?Instead he puts slugs like Brown and Yafallo and Vilardi who did Nada,Niente,Zilch the whole dam game

I don't know if you were watching a different game but Iafallo was the best guy on his line (before the line changes) and Vilardi was magic with the puck and had some great chances despite being on a line with Wagner for a majority of the game

Honestly the way they just disappeared from the lineup even though they were playing well reminded me of Justin Turner disappearing from Game 6 of the World Series.

All I have to say is we fought back and didn't fold that was at least a positive. But even with the lost I don't ever wanna see Amadios and Luff on this team moving forward. Grundstrom and Andersson did great for the ice time they got.

Wagner and Kempe routinely advance the play past everyone and kill it before Vilardi can get involved. Or he moves it to them and it dies with them.

I love Lizzotte but let him buzz around and waste time with those two and get some shorties on the PK.
