This is exactly what I thought the vets could use as fuel this season, a little enthusiasm and a lot of youthful energy.
Something about Andersson’s story really makes me pull for him. Pretty much given up for dead, and here he is making a positive contribution on this team. Good for him.

I'm not trying to rag on Kopitar, but he's getting paid a boatload to be one of our best players out there. He's quietly racked up a bunch of points, but I can only think of two plays that have really impressed me for those points: the pass across the crease to Brown and the pass today to Lias.

The points are great, but what isn't great is that he's losing puck battles and can't handle passes and it's so out of character for him. If Kopitar needs to transform his game as he gets older, I'll be surprised if its more offense in exchange for less defense instead of the opposite.

He does look better this season than last. While Petersen has looked nothing special so far. Curious to see what happens down the line.
i reckon rookie goalies are gonna suffer the most from this layoff and broken up season

just can't replicate NHL shooters at NHL speed anywhere else

Wow, wasn't expecting the Kings to be in this position when I missed the first two periods... Andersson has more goals than Alexis Lafreniere :P

Yeah. Points are great. But he doesn't look good. The points don't reflect his performance for sure. He's shown no dominance at all. Weak on the puck and even slower than before.

Definitely goalie interference. Even if Doughty eventually barreled him into quick.

i'm not sure that even crossed the line to be honest but it could maybe be called back on incidental contact if it did
