No. What I see is this. one dman where he's suppose to be, the other is not, reguardless of what Browns doing. Brown does need better coverage, sure, but mcd has no business being that far down without checking first to see if there is help. View attachment 422551

Is McD in the LD spot here?
The other thing is the RD is just way too far away from the play.

So with Quick they were down 3-1 and with Peterson they’re down 2-1. It doesn’t matter whose in net, prime Hasek isn’t coming out of the tunnel.

There is one person and one person only to blame for this goal. I know some people get so angry and pissed off when anyone says it, but facts are facts, this guy is on the ice for an insanely high amount of goals-against for how little he plays, and yes, a good chunk of those goals have been a direct result of a play or decision he made.

Him being on the roster and in the lineup semi-regularly is a really really bad look for both Blake and TM. I know he is under contract for next year, he better be playing about an hour down the 10 if he's not bought out.

This team needs a hitter in the worst kind of way. No one throws a check. No one gets in hard on the forecheck and lays the body. Lemieux has been a disappointment. MacDermid no longer goes for the big hit. Wagner doesn’t do it regularly, and neither does Grundstrum. I don’t want Anderson Dolan to be the only one.

That picture tells you everything, but apparently you aren't able to read it.

Brown has no business being that low, he has to be above the top of the circles ready to support. MacDermid did everything he is supposed to do, close the gap and take his man out even if he can't stop the puck. If he backs off he is giving away thr gap and allowing an easy attack with numbers.

That play is all on Brown, and its a carbon copy of the same play with the same results the game before. He has to know better, but he is just floating at this stage of his career, hoping to be fed easy tap ins.

This is remedial stuff. It just took a neutral voice point it out and not the hug patrol calling the game.

Expect a major shake up to the lineup next game. Matt Luff is primed to lift this team.

We are going to finish dead last in the West, mark my words. Ducks play with pride, they will sweep us on that 4 game set.
