It's been said many times before Reeves played in the era where all the True heavies are long gone. He wouldn't be prancing around chess thumping like he's the sh** if he played in the heavyweight era. But it is what it is until he's taken out he's still the only heavy in the league.

People that hate on Iafallo really don't get what he brings to the team. He is the epitome of a non-sexy player who you need to get to the next level. Not everyone can be Kempe in terms of skills.

The question is, how much do you pay him when you know his numbers are inflated a bit due to first line/first PP unit minutes.

I think its Reaves more than anything. Vegas has a bunch of punchable dudes too. Gave them a reason to insert Big Mac.

Dupuis made a career by being just that. Kings need someone like Iafallo. He actually helps Kopitar

Brown put EVERYONE out of position. Roy took a stride to the pass then back to the slot just as it had been abandoned by a Vilardi, who was also left out to dry by the dumb turnover.

The only way Roy or Vilardi could have properly anticipated that play would be if they had assumed Brown was going to gift-wrap it like that, and nobody would because you just don't see that kind of stupidity very often. It took less than four seconds from the time the puck left Brown's stick until it was in the net. That is nowhere near enough time to process the dumb turnover, assess if you can get to the puck first, see where your support is, see where the opponents are, and make the proper read. There isn't a defenseman in the league that isn't hungout to dry by Brown there.

3 on 3 needs more AA, Wagner and Kempe.
Going with the old guard... reminds me of the Wings going with Zetterberg and kronwall when they couldn't skate with the kids in all that space.
