It's weird to think that the Oilers of all teams fired both these coaches but it really isn't hard to believe watching this game tonight.

Lot of flinging pucks and praying on display. Not as much chopping wood and carrying water.

This is a game they should not be losing. You kinda felt it coming in the 1st with all those chances in the 1st that didn't go in.

To me there are two issues with Vilardi there.
1) Lack of confidence to make the smart play, so he backhands it away for a turnover. If you're gonna bail, bail it into a corner or behind the net.
2) Speed. Vilardi just can do much about that backcheck. He tried.
