Also, on the Blues telecast they said Brown leads the Western Conference in goal scoring.

Pinch me because this doesn't seem real. If they keep playing like this making the playoffs might start to feel like just the beginning. They aren't backing down from anyone right now. This defensive core is coming into its own while Brown, Kopitar, and Doughty are reinventing themselves.

As Darryl Sutter would say, there goes Sean Walkers modeling career. Face looks a little different but his play doesn't.

Loving what I am seeing, nice to see the vets firing on all cylinders and the kids are starting to grow. May not be able to take on the likes of the Lightning, but this team is still dangerous and can only go up from here...

Folks wondered if the success at the end of last season was real or not. Obviously this team isn't 10 of 13 or 7 straight good, but the real question was if the Kings were improving and the answer is yes. Injecting youth and trading away players of value from a stale lineup made all the difference. Sometimes you just have to swap parts out even if the parts in place are still good because it just doesn't work like it used to.
