Keep him with Vilardi and Kempe and give the guy some PP time Yafallo is doing nothing there

He is a kid. Might be able to get away with that in the lower levels but he will learn what works and what doesn't with more minutes.

Heh, don’t have to tell me. I’ve been much higher on Clague than pretty much the whole board. His maturation is just like AMart. Come up first time, look horrible. Go down for an extended stay. Come up and look like a completely different player.
Strand is the player I’m still in shock on. I had heard he had potential but thought he was still a year away from any minutes.

Pretty bad rookie mistake. You might be able to get away with it in the ahl, but not in the nhl.
I hear ya but using too much of the he's young excuse. I don't know maybe I'm going to question his IQ.

Gotta close this game out. They've arguably played their best game of the year and need to see it through.
I am too. Doughty makes at least one of those types of bonehead plays a game. At least Clague can use the rookie explanation.

Doughty made an arguably worse one just seconds before, haha.
I don't think it was so much a 'bad play' as a bad result. If that shot/pass goes through or he just carries it into the corner, we're fine. Even if it doesn't get through and even one of the forwards has some awareness to hustle back, we're fine. Full breakdown.

That goal was just a series of crap. What was Doughty’s bank pass in the corner about? Weak call on Kempe. Risky spin by Clague. Culminated in a rebound goal.
I'm pretty sure they're going to send him back unfortunately. He's playing exactly how we all hoped he would be playing, kid is a stud. Plus he's going to slow down the Cower for Power game plan.
I think too much emphasis is placed on sliding the ELC over developing prospects. Especially with regards to high end players, sometimes it can be beneficial to get through the ELC and lock them up before they break out. Pasta is a great example of this.

So Valardi was hooked 3 times breaking through the sharks defense, and nothing was called? Then the phantom slash and its a penalty? The refs are awful tonight.
