look no further than the Norris discussion for an example of the level of depth of d-man discussions anywhere haha.

Points, plus minus, be on a good team. Play that makes life easier for everyone else isn't sexy enough.

Totally agree. That's why I keep shouting from the roof tops that Turcotte is going to make a massive difference to this team, more so than Vilardi and Byfield (at least for a few years) even though he may ultimately put up 25 or so fewer points. Its the link up play, the structure, intensity and pace that will all change dramatically for the better when he gets here.

That's the stuff that promotes accountability, not experience or toughness - seeing somebody giving a shit about doing things the right way. I believe that is infectious throughout the lineup.

I'm thankful that I didn't watch this game lol. Looks like a real bummer of a performance. Injuries and your best players gettin old.

see i'm cool with accepting poor play from the rookies and depth players, i have a major issue with the $10M men stinking up the joint night after night after night. they don't get to take nights off for that kind of money. i'm sorry. if they try their damndest and it's not enough because of depth players, fine.

top line has been effective tonight, they're getting a pass so far. doughty has been a mixed bag

I get what you’re saying but does anyone here believe Kings management really wanted to win this year?

Hoping Kempe and Gabe become nhl players along with Mikey; I wrote Kempe off but he looks good.

Just feel it’s so important for us to get one of those stud defensemen this year. We really need one in our future top four, along with Tobias.

I’d rather get another top five pick this year than end up wining a bunch of meaningless games and drafting in the middle of the first.

I know it hurts some of you, but bring out the tank and accept reality.
At least one of us accepted it when Blake's big LHD signing was Maata.

Realistic fans: No

But I heard something on a early broadcast or the season preview or something where they said that expected to compete for a playoff spot and were planning to add at the deadline. I laughed with them and at them.
Then they started off pretty well. Then Minnesota happened.

I think this year is going to be streaky like last season. I think they are going to continue stuggling until Roy comes back and gives them and emotional boost. This is where we needed Tommy Lasorda to come in to the locker room pre game and destroy a urinal with a baseball bat

f*** this team. when they start feel like playing i'll start feel like watching. this falls on rob blake.

Rob Blake and Maclellan.

As much as we’re hating on Kopitar and Brown they’re the only ones that can actually sustain any pressure. So that should tell you that the 2 mid 30s players are the only ones that can do something.

They're getting paid too much money to just be sustaining pressure rarely. Right now there's nothing separating the first line from the second or third.

Quit chirping Brown! The Kings must be insane they keep running the same trio hoping for better results, over and over and over again!
