@Evilo how much do you think Aouar and Ndombele would fetch if they got sold either this window or in the summer? And how likely do you think it is that one or both of them actually move in the next 8 months?
This window, the answer is easy : they're not moving.
This summer however, I think Ndombele moves. Aouar maybe, but not sure. Fekir moves too.
Ndombele will cost 70M+ this summer IMO. 60M minimum. First because he's crazy good, and second because Aulas knows how to sell.
Aouar, if he were to move this summer would probably cost 50+. But I'll say it again, if he moves, he needs to be put in a comfy zone, with talented players around him that won't ask him to dominate every game. He still isn't consistent enough, contrary to Ndombele who only needs to work on his D.

Looks like Lovre Kalinic will finally go to Aston Villa, almost three years after they initially wanted him but he didn't get a work permit. Now that he is Croatia's #1 and playing regularly for Gent that won't be an issue

What happened to all those people that said the stadium cost wouldn't affect Spur's spending since the TV rights and hosting NFL games would help ease the cost?

They were right.

If the job was done right.

The idea that spending hundreds of millions on a new stadium and training ground wasn't going to affect their ability to spend on transfers in the short term was always laughable.

Obviously it'll lead to higher financial power in the medium and longer term, but it's 100% going to affect available cash for a few years, especially when (according to most reports) a good chunk of the loans are very short term.

Random article from MARCA out of nowhere; Bayern is set to trigger Lucas Hernandez’s buy clause on January 1st, which is set at 85M.

Yup read that too. Insanity for a LB... maybe they want him to be CB full time? Still ludicrous price Atleti should laugh all the way to the bank. Simeone can buy another CM/DM to further his negative play and cover Hernandez at a third of the cost.

Left back, if I read it right That's Alaba's position. Maybe he will be playing in midfield or leave in the summer. 80m (if true) for a left back is insane. They have holes almost everywhere, but not at LB.

Yeah, my first thought was that that's far from the best way for Bayern to break out of their shell and spend big money for once. Desperate to salvage this season and stay on top of the Bundesliga, and willing to pay a premium in the winter window to do so? Are they going to make more huge money moves next summer too? Unless they're willing to shell out several hundred million € more to get more younger stars at other positions next summer, I don't think it's the best use of their money.

They still have to replace Robbery next summer. Coman is alreaddy there but (from what he said) one injury away from retirement. I don't believe that, but they still need to replace one.

You have to think they'll play him at centre half with how poor Hummels and Boatang have played. Still a ridiculous price though.

That actually seems pretty reasonable for those two. I wouldn't have been surprised to see Aulas value Ndombele the way Lazio valued SMS last summer.

Auoar seems like the type of player Klopp wants to add. I'll predict right now that Liverpool go in for him next summer.

Looks like there's rumours of Hummels leaving in January. That helps explain breaking the bank for Lucas

Bayern is breaking the bank for Lucas because they are scared to death of Mane and Salah. Hard to blame them.

Lucas Hernandez is very talented and already pretty damn good. 80m is a hilarious price and a sign that higher-ups at Bayern are seriously panicking.

News of two young Americans signing in Europe.

Manny Perez will sign at Celtic. 19 year old right-back. Not all that good of a player, in my opinion. I'd be surprised if he has success at Celtic. He was one of the worst players on our regional championship sub 20 team, and that was a team of back ups to begin with.

Richie Ledezma will be signed and registered by PSV in January. 18 year old CM who can also play as a winger. Good player, and I think he'll probably do well at PSV.

Barça papers talking about Christensen and Rugani with the latter supposedly being the more sure bet.

Of course Eric Garcia could be in the frame, but instead he's apparently enjoying the Carabao Cup.

Why can't they trigger the Lenglet "too much to turn down" clause at 85 million? Or how about the Vermaelen "common sense" clause at just 85?

Lucas Hernandez is a good LB, but hardly great. He's good mostly because of his strong will rather than his individual talent.

Lucas Hernandez is not going to make much of a difference.
This is a move because they know one of their CBs is a goner, he will play as CB for sure.
