Yemelin is just broke by all his past injuries.
Medvedev is getting up there in age. That is probably the biggest factor.
Mironov has not found his stride after the return. Maybe after the next season it looks different.
Chudinov is not bad, but not necessarily better than the bottom 4 guys on this squad.
Antipin just remains small and OD only.

If Barabanov and Mikheyev aren't on the team, I won't like it like at all. They are both as gritty as Plotnikov and Telegin, but they have some skill as well. Plotnikov can't score outside the KHL, and Telegin just can't score.

Who? I think it's Gavrikov, no need forwards and Gavrikov was in the roster for WC before he signed a contract with Columbus.

It’s Tarasenko, he would be a huge upgrade over Kaprizov/Dadonov in the top 6.

Zadorov without a contract and with many micro-injury all season (in last game too), he will not go to WC.

Gavrikov can be available after the next game. I'd say, he'd be the best option, he's exactly, what our team needs.

Panarin will probably decline even if invited. He is after the money this summer.

Barabanov is small. Mikheyev had injuries. I don't think it is as obvious as you want it to be.

Malkin and Kucherov with a nice go-and-go at the end of the 1st, results in a missed half-open net for Grigorenko. Only a few shifts together so far, but right now Grigorenko does not look like he fits on that line.

Russia possibly waking up though, which is good to see.

Pretty slow and pretty bad as always when this ”golden generation” comes together. We really need Tarasenko and Panarin for Top-6.

Orlov starting to get his feet back under him from all the jetlag. Russia looks so much better with a legitimate top pairing NHL defenceman on the blueline. Zaitsev is also an upgrade on most of the KHL guys.
