This is exactly how I feel. Not perfect, don't agree with everything, but I like him oftentimes.

In fact, given the general state of pro sports and how greedy and slimy all the leagues and owners have become, I'd say he's done a downright admirable job.

I don't neccesarrily disagree. A lot of people say it's Adam Silver but I think thats more because he is progressive on social issues. Which is fine but as far as the product goes the NBA was a lot better under David Stern, who most definitely had his warts. Not all Silvers fault the quality of the NBA has declined but he's been there 5 years now and it gets worse every year.

Manfred and Goddell are nothing special IMO.

The NHL will never be more popular than MLB, NBA, and NFL but it keeps chugging along and has the best post-season by far of the 4.
