I suspect a lot of GMs are trying to unload their cap problems on Ottawa. Dorion has some leverage.

Shane Pinto is someone to keep an eye on. Going to UND next season. Models his game after Scheifele. Decent sized Centre at 6’2” 195lbs. Seems like a good kid too.

If he's available 4th round, he'll be a great pick for sure. I'd say 3rd, but we don't have one, so we'll have to wait. Should be better available at 50

But I'm still hoping for a good C to drop. Brett Leason would be cool because he can help sooner than later and has looked like a pro.

Yegor Spiridonov is a good sized C with a ton of skill. If his name was Yessi Spiiri from Finland the Jets would be all over it, but they may avoid the "Russian Factor" in the 2nd.

Jamieson Rees is intruiguing. He's a Jets type player and missed a lot of games due to injury. At #52 he'd be HUGE value for Peg City.

Any of the regional Sportsnet channels (West, East, Ontario, Pacific), but you'll see the picks quicker on the NHL.com tracker. The coverage eventually falls behind the actual draft because it moves too quickly at this point. You'll probably get about as much insight into players from Sportsnet as a random scouting report that you can google.
