Yeah, you get the sense that they've identified the Rangers as one of the teams they can go to in order to straighten out their cap after they've resolved their more pressing business (e.g. signing Marner).

Could be. I just get the sense that if they ever connected on a trade, whoever it is, you’d hear something similar to what we heard with Miller and Tampa - aka the name coming up over a longer period of time.

The thing with the Rangers and Nylander is they're one of a handful of teams who could add him with very little cap going back while still having appealing assets to trade. I think that could pick up steam in the next week or so.
