What I love about the Henriksson pick shows that we're not afraid of taking smaller, skilled players. The only other player we've taken in that mold is Ronning, who was a good value 7th rounder. I like the risk there.

Astounding price without knowing the condition but since JT is signed I recon it’s just a top 10 protection. Simply astounding at that salary.

I could not be more thrilled. Had Robertson at 23 and Henriksson at 25. Only player I had higher was Dorofeyev at 21.

Robertson honestly reminds me of McDonagh as a prospect. Lower ceiling, but could be a 2/3 D. He can skate, he can defend, and his offense shows flashes of a skill set that is untapped.

Henriksson centered Raymond and Holtz in the u18s where they won gold. I believe Raymond was quoted as saying Henriksson was the most valuable player on that team. Karl also just recently dropped soccer to focus on hockey full time. He was on the national team track for that as well I believe. Outstanding playmaker and quite an athlete.

He’s a skill guy who works hard. I’m just not as sure how that skill translates into the NHL as a center with his size and speed.

He's a gamble, IMO. He's a middle 6 center or he's a career SHL player.
