Why does it take a toll on Hughes but not everyone else lol
I think it does affect everyone. You hear guys that have been in the league for years talk about the grind of traveling all the time. Particularly guys out west who will even call it a disadvantage since they have to do so much more than, for instance, guys in the Metro.

As it pertains to Hughes, if he is tired, he'll get used to it.

The big thing here is that Jack Hughes is the only one who played in both the u18 WC and the men's WC and traveling back home in between.

Are you watching the game live USA - Finland @Amazing Kreiderman ? :)
Yes it surprise me that Jack Hughes is on the USA roster - he is more than good enough, but he has played so many games this season. It will be fun to watch Quinn Hughes as well from Nucks and his brother.

I travel a lot. Usually ok with it, but it has gotten more tiring with age. My wife has it tough when traveling. Moronic to generalize something as individual as fatigue when traveling. Some adapt better than others. Some can never get used to it - regardless of preparations.
I have RLS. Flights, especially long ones without the ability to walk around, can be excruciating for me.

Traveling isn't exactly tiring. You sit in an airplane. You can even sleep the entire time. The issue is the jet lag, however this won't be as big of an issue with Hughes because he just was in Europe for a long time. We also can compare to the rest of the team - let's remember jet lag should be less impactful for young people, not more.

If this is the biased hot takes we are going to get please stay in the prospect thread with the resident sanitation expert, PB. It's ignorant posts like this that make me think we will be living a Webster nightmare, from the flames to a full blown pyre. Here we thought we escaped..............

Excited. This should be fun for us and stressful for Devils fans. We get to select whomever they dont choose, which is a complete win no matter how you slice it.

Sit back, relax, and enjoy on this Monday morning work day.

I know you're being sarcastic but man, there was one month where I traveled to like 7 cities and mostly did fun stuff (some business) and I was just completely drained. I can't imagine travelling like this regularly.

Yeah. I was referring to someone who literally said that all you do on a plane is sit.

I travel to North America 6 times a year and it messes with me every time. And I am not even doing something physical, like pro sports. I have an office job.

Back in Dec 2017/Jan 2018 I traveled around North America for 3 weeks.

Buffalo > Niagara Falls > Kitchener > Toronto > NYC > Tampa > Sarasota > Phoenix > Vegas > Seattle > Portland > NYC and then back to Europe. I needed 3-4 days just to recover from my vacation

I pay extra money to Verizon for NHL Network and its blocked from streaming away from home. It f***ing 2019 and you can stream anything anywhere. Cable SUCKS. I'm so done with it.
