Maybe, too early to tell right now. Considering Darnold was a high INT guy in college a lot of people thought he'd be like that too. The way he looks today that would be a pretty good scenario for him.

No, but everything up to these plays is leading to it. You get gifted a shot at the end zone on PI and you run plays that aren't good against man defense.

Yes, there are bad roads and bad throws, but when you keep seeing free rushers all game, you cannot expect him to be patient and pick apart a defense. He's still a young QB

He's never done it until tonight vs the Patriots. This is f'n bizzaro world at this point now.

This has got to be a mental thing now. Belichek has him spooked and he's seeing ghosts all the time.

I hope he can recover from this. I mean I think he will but this is as bad as I've ever seen a Jet QB who was a starter in a very very long time. I guess maybe since Geno Smith was here....holy shit is this bad.

There's a theory I've seen that he's playing scared due to being afraid to put his spleen in danger.
 
Darnold looks like he's lost all confidence and doesn't want to be out there anymore. Maybe we should take him out and put whoever our backup is.

Sam is typically very poised and self assured out there. Since that first pick, he's lost it all...had no feel and I just hope and pray this is a one off deal and he'll be fine vs Jax next week.

We'll see but I'd be lying if I didn't say I'm very concerned at how he comes out next week.

Who thought this? Was one game in which they were thoroughly outplayed against a reeling Dallas team enough for people to think the Jets would beat Bill Belichick and arguably the best D have ever had for the Pats?

You were right...I was wrong. I drank the kool-aid and didn't think my QB would be seeing "ghosts".

Simply a horrific performance and Gase...I have not a clue what the f*** plays he was calling. I thought he was supposed to be a QB whisperer. He's made Darnold look worse. I don't get it. It's just the same old shit. I'm disgusted...just a complete disaster. I'm actually concerned about Darnold now. He looked worse than Faulk did....incredible.

This was Geno Smith type shit tonight. This hurts more cause I hate the Patriots so much. Man oh man...just embarassing and I'm pissed at myself for as I said drinking the kool-aid thinking that the Jets actually would show up and give the Pats a game and maybe even win...hahahaha. I'm a fool.

OK...you happy Darko my friend...I'm buzzed from way too much vodka...gotta get up for work in 4 hours and I'm done...gotta get some sleep.

I just found it weird saying you are a chance to beat the Pats. Last week you beat a flawed and overrated Cowboys team. Pats are a different breed.
 
What an absolutely horrid decade it's turning out to be for NY sports. The Giants and Jets might collectively not even win 5 games
