Sounds about right. A RHS #6 defenseman who can kill penalties would be ideal (i.e. Timmins being healthy)

1. 3rd goalie
We have Grubauer, Francouz, Werner, and Miska. Gru/Franc in the show. Werner as backup for the Eagles. Miska gets the ECHL gig and a chance to work his way up. We need a starter for the Eagles, preferably somebody with NHL experiences. Might need to entice a guy like Michal Neuvirth or Chad Johnson with some nice money for that role.
2. Depth RHD
Probably doesn’t even matter, just a personal preference. I would like to offload a couple of these left-handed tweeners(Barberio, Graves, Lindholm, Boikov, whatever) and get one decent right handed guy.
3. 13/14th forwards
I don’t believe Greer and Kamenev have futures with our organization. They’re both RFAs and I expect them to get traded or something. Dries might occupy one of these spots, Bourque could get re-signed perhaps, and there’s always the likelihood of some PTOs.

Can't see Neuvirth or Johnson taking that role... have to find an expendable #3 somewhere that will pass through waivers. A guy like Kevin Boyle (in before 'who?').

Thanks for putting that together. Very interesting. This looks a lot better that last year. Good balance.
Just one point...I'm pretty sure there was a report last year that Girard was now around 180lbs IIRC.

There’s reports of Jost being over 200 pounds now as well.
I’m just using the official numbers on our website.
Weird. He felt he bulked up too much his rookie season, then slimmed down last year. I don’t know what his weight was though.

Weren't Pens fan saying that Cole could also play on the right side before we signed him? Maybe we kick him over to the right for the bottom pairing and have Byram/Graves on the left? I really don't want anything to do with Barbi ever again.

Landeskog - Kadri - Burakovsky
This open up Landy go move down to 2nd line and pair up with Kadri and open up Burakovsky for more explosive plays.
Donskoi - Compher - Calvert
Two really balanced 3rd and 4th lines.

What do you guys think about Rants playing with Kadri?
I’ve never been one who wanted to split up Nate and Rants, but Mikko would fit well with Kadri. Naz is a shoot first guy and it would make it really hard for teams to match up against our top 2 lines.

Not really. It's almost impossible for teams to have six true "top 6" forwards in their lineup. Usually at least two of those players will be tweeners. It simply costs too much.
We've got four legitimate top 6 forwards on this roster as it stands.
