Its a very difficult situation to be put in thats for sure. If Keefe doesn't work out the Leafs will fire Dubas and completely overhaul the team.

Yeah, it is a tough spot. I feel like the hotseat might be a tad premature for Dubas, only been on the job for like 18 months? But I do certainly get the pressures of the Toronto market.

I mean there's like a gazillion radio shows and podcasts from the GTA market around the Leafs who will tear apart the team on a whim or praise them way too early.. Its an insane market. This is imho one of the reasons why the team has not had success in such a long time

Time for Toronto to find out that not all of their issues came from Babcock. Can’t play a 20 man game with 12 players.
 
2 goals so far for Makar tonight. Up to 7 on the season and 25 points now...ridiculous pace for a dman in general

Well, he got it about a foot off the ice and it deflected off the goalies pad and into the top of the net. So it was still a very Val like shot

I’m not even sure it was off the ice. I thought it was the goalie’s stick along the ice that deflected it up.

Also, people are leaving out almost 20 games on the goal drought total because his drought also included something like 11 playoff and 6 or so preseason games.
 
Is Buffalo ever a disaster. Just gave up 2 shorties on their PP and for good measure another immediately after the PP ended. It was a game up until that point.

Edit: appears they took away the one right after the PP was over, but you get my point, they're not good.
