Nice. Great to see for Brownie and icing on the cake for Gabe.

Roy was +4 tonight, Anderson +2.

The Walker-MacDermid pair was on the ice for all three Wild goals.

As much as I love MacDermid and what he brings, he definitely has some defensive deficiencies. He chases and loses positioning a little too often.

outside of that first goal both mac and walker had their men, it's the forwards not picking up the loose change

lets ease up a bit

Nothing to ease up on. This is a learning year. I'd rather have them make mistakes this season and learn from them. The first goal was MacDermid's fault, he gave up positioning. The second goal was just a nice shot, maybe Frk's fault but he's also in position to receive an outlet pass and isn't necessarily expecting to defend there (although maybe he should be). Third goal is probably Vilardi's fault for not staying low and picking up the third forward. Walker stopped the puck with his skate on the initial shot though, and it deflected out towards the empty net, which isn't really something you can plan on.

I can still point to a lot of occasions where MacDermid puts himself out of position. That's not to say I don't like him or that I don't want him to succeed, but that he'll need to shore that up if we ever make it to the playoffs and he wants to be a part of it.

Nice to get wins and show growth. It does concern me if they aren’t in a position to get one of the good kids in the top part of the draft because the season as a whole has been bearable just because of the potential to get a good pick.

This team is clicking and we haven't even called four of our five best prospects. Great that Vilardi's playing great in LA, but wait until Turcotte, Kaliyev, Fagemo, and Bjornfot join the team as well. I think that Wagner-Lizotte-Moore line is the perfect fourth line. If we have enough talent to push them down, that would be excellent.
