Wonder more and more what the hell happened between Brown and Sutter. So many lost years and opportunities. Maybe they never have to sign Gaborik, or get Lucic at all, had I guess Sutter known what he was doing with him. More annoying with every point Brown gets that makes him look not done.

The way I see it, right now there are three guys that need to be "sheltered": Kovalchuk, Carter, and Kempe. If we can get these guys to be productive and find chemistry, our forwards will be looking pretty good. I still think we should consider moving Iafallo off the top line and trying something else. I still think we ought to trade Kovalchuk if we can. Retain 50% on him and try to get a pick of some kind. Then we could roll:

Carter - Kopitar - Brown
Wagner - Amadio - Toffoli
Iafallo - Lizotte - Grundstrom
Clifford - Kempe - Lewis
