Can't wait to watch the "proper" rebuild guys on here go ape shit when the Kings are buyers at the TDL next year. They need to trade off Lewis, Toffoli, Martinez and Carter this year. Then somehow swap some of the smallish puckmovers for a big RHD or two. Even with the current squishy soft D that can't clear the crease, they are competitive every game. Love the job TM is doing.Brown made things interesting, then for their last grasp effort, they easily give the puck away yet again. Considering their historic performance in Buffalo, this is a moral victory. Baby steps.

Yea i was sleeping on clague. I had no idea of his game breaking offensive potential. If he can round out his game positionally and defensively he will be a nice addition to the rosterProkhorin looked REALLY good this game.....Clague....man...looks good...but also looked so lost in the defensive zone...
Has anyone seen iafallo? Guys been a ghost for a while now
And consider this game was in Alex's hometown
If Alex Iafallo needed ANYTHING to boost his ineffective game and numbers, this was it...playing in front of his family and friends in his hometown; and he was flat! It's really time to remove him from LW1 and PP1. Line 1 has been pretty stale of late - the end of the game goal by Brown, was not actually line 1, anyway.
Possible combos:
Prokhorkin-Kopitar-Brown
Prokhorkin-Kopitar-Carter (could be really good)
Brown-Kopitar-Carter
Kempe-Kopitar-Brown
Kempe-Kopitar-Carter
Toffoli-Kopitar-Carter
Kempe hot hand, goals in 3 staraight. Prokhorkin better playmaking, hands and goal scoring ability over Alex. Carter is being wasted with Clifford / Lewis. Why not promote one of those 4 over Iafallo? Not a single good reason not to try any of those.
Todd's next lesson needs to be how to hold a lead
Didn't see much of the game. Seemed like a close match though.
